What to expect
Your day begins at Homer Harbor, where you’ll meet your captain and crew. Once aboard, we’ll head out toward the calm, protected waters of Kachemak Bay.
The trip starts by setting crab pots in productive areas before moving on to trolling for King Salmon often called “Winter Kings.” These bright, chrome-colored salmon are prized for their firm texture and exceptional flavor.
After salmon fishing, we’ll circle back to pull your crab pots and see what’s waiting inside often a generous haul of legal Tanner Crab. Few experiences match hauling up your own pots, surrounded by snowy peaks and crisp Alaskan air.
